摘　　要：以山东大学威海分校图书馆为例,分析高校图书馆向社会开放的积极作用及运作过程中产生的问题,并提出完善高校图书馆向社会开放的可行性建议。Taking Shandong University Library at Weihai for example, the present paper analyzes the role of the academic library opening to the reading public and the problems in the process. And it also offers some suggestions for its improvement.
