摘　　要：该文以美国20世纪10～30年代在影院建筑领域居统治地位的电影宫殿建筑为研究对象,探讨其兴衰的主要过程及原因。分析了电影宫殿建筑的两个主要流派各自的建筑形式及标志性建筑师。指出电影宫殿对于影院建筑发展的重要意义,即它标志着影院建筑从杂耍和余兴的附属空间演变为社会各阶层认可的建筑形式,代表着影院建筑崛起。This article focused on the Unique Movie Palaces emerged during the 1910s-1930s in the USA.It introduced the process between its rise and decay with discussing the influential factors.It also mentioned two main genres of Movie Palace in the form of Architecture,presented their representative architects.Finally,it pointed out the importance that Movie Palace to the motion picture theaters,that is,marking the beginning of motion picture theatre became an acceptable Architectural form through accessory space,and representing the rise of motion picture theatres.
