摘　　要：Z39.5 0 ,又称 ISO2 395 0 ,是国际通用的信息检索标准和协议 ,具有丰富的语义 ,良好的互操作性和强大的功能 ,被广泛地应用于信息领域。 WWW- Z39.5 0网关继承并发展了传统的 C/ S结构 ,使系统变得更加开放 ;把 Z39.5 0与 WWW结合起来 ,用户界面更加统一、简单、友好 ,从而极大地拓宽了 Z39.5 0应用范围。 WWW- Z39.5 0是“九五”国家重点科技攻关项目“新一代图书馆信息系统 ( NL IS)”应用的重要技术之一。本文主要描述了 WWW— Z39.5 0网关的结构 ,功能和主要技术问题 ,并与传统的 C/ S结构作了比较。最后 ,我们展望了 Z39.5Z39.50 (ISO 23950), is the international standard and protocol for information retrieval. It has been used in the area of information because of the powerful function, interactive operation and contents in abundance.WWW-Z39.50 gateway has inherited and developed the structure of traditional Client/Server. By combining the Z39.50 with WWW, and giving users simple, uniform, friendly user interface, this system colonized the usage of Z39.50 greatly. WWW-Z39.50 gateway is a key technology of “New-generation Library Information System”. In this article we introduce the structure, function and technology of WWW-Z39.50 gateway, and compares it with the C/S. In the end, we talk about the new trend of Z39.50.
