悬浮聚合法制备PMMA/OAT复合微球及其性能研究

摘  要:通过对凹凸棒土(AT)进行有机改性,得到有机化凹凸棒土(OAT)。以硅烷偶联剂(KH-570)改性过的AT为核,羟乙基纤维素(HEC)为分散剂,过氧化苯甲酰(BPO)为引发剂,在水溶液中,采用悬浮聚合法制备了PMMA/OAT核壳复合微球。借助扫描电镜(SEM)、透射电镜(TEM)、红外光谱(FT-IR)、热失重分析(TGA)和差示扫描量热(DSC)等检测手段对复合微球进行了形貌探测和结构表征。结果表明:这种PMMA/OAT核壳复合微球的粒径大约为450nm,粒径分布均匀。通过对复合微球的综合热性能进行分析,发现PMMA/OAT-3复合微球分解10%的温度(T0.1)、玻璃化转化温度(Tg)比纯PMMA分别高出4.78℃、19.98℃,复合材料的热稳定性明显提高。Organic-attapulgite (OAT) was obtained by organic modification. PMMA/OAT core/shell composite microspheres have been achieved by suspension polymerization in an aqueous medium using coupling agent (KH-570) modified attapulgite as core, hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC)as stabilizer and benzoyl peroxide (BPO)as the initiator. Composite microspheres were investigated by SEM, TEM, FT-IR, DSC and TGA. The results showed that the average particle size of PMMA/OAT core/shell composite microspheres was about 450nm and equably uniform. In contrast with pure PMMA, 10%decomposition temperature(T0. 1),glass transition temperature (Tg) of PMMA/OAT-3 were respectively improved by4. 78 ℃, 10. 18℃. The thermal stability of nanocomposites was markedly improved.
