摘　　要：Tender Is the Night （1986） uses Nicole Warren as a spokeman for vast and historical crisises. This paper consists of three parts. First, it is a brief introduction to F. Scott Fitzgerald and his masterpiece Tender Is the Night and his money complex. The second part is the analysis of the heroine Nicole Warren who determines to return to the rich world after her recovery from the shock of being raped by her own father. The last part focuses on the miseries and corrupts that congest the rich world under the influence of money. The purpose of this paper is to find out the root of all those miseries and other social crisis. It is money that alienates them from happiness.
