To explore the effects of acute re-peated hypoxia to oxygen free radical metabolism of organism. Method: To select 16 members of mil-itary drivers at random from a motor transport troops. The blood antioxidase, antioxide, lipid per-oxide(LPO) of them were detected for 3 times re-spectively: on the 10th day before transport task (1400m above sea level); at the midway(3700m above sea level ) when they had accomplished 4 rounds of transport task on high altitudes(1400 -5400m above sea level) and one month after they had accomplished 8 rounds of transport task on high altitudes(1400m theve sea level). Results: Before the transport task, Hb, LPO,MDA were decreased with highly significant difference(P<0.01), RBC - SOD, Vit. E were in-creased with significant difference(P <0. 05 ) than those at the midway; before the transport task,RBC - SOD, Vit. E were increased and LPO,MDA were decreased all with highly significant difference than those after transport; at the mid-way, Hb, RBC - SOD were increased with highly significant difference and significant difference(P<0. 01 and P <0. 05) than those after transport. Conclusion: In certain time of such hypoxia stress condition and after repeated hypoxia stress action stopped, intracorporal lipid peroxide activity was increased obviously with a rather long sustained time.
