人性与信仰的矛盾——论克洛德的悲剧意义

摘　　要：文学作品的意义在于塑造丰富而复杂的人物形象并客观而准确地揭示社会演变的潜流,雨果的《巴黎圣母院》就是这样的一部作品。作者通过克洛德的悲剧形象揭露了宗教禁欲主义的虚伪残忍,揭示了世俗的爱情必将消灭宗教禁欲制度的必然规律。克洛德不仅代表着他自身的性格和命运,他的悲剧折更射出人性的深刻与复杂,远远超出了他个人悲剧命运的范畴,具有广泛而深刻的社会意义。他对知识的由渴求到厌倦、对信仰的从坚守到背弃、他人性的由善良到扭曲、他对宿命的思索和反抗,使我们不得不反观自身的生存状态。因此,人性的泯灭与超越、道德的沦丧与坚守、灵魂的玷污与净化、信仰的缺失与重构,都是值得我们深深思考的。The value of literature works lies in portraying fertile and complex characters as well as revealing a social change objectively and correctly. Notre Dame De Paris written by Hugo is a typical representation of this kind. The author revealed hypocritical and ruthless religion asceticism through the portrayal of Clodc＇s tragic image; he also revealed the law that worldly love inevitably surmounted the religion asceticism. Clode not only represents his own character and destiny, but also has the aesthetic value in terms of literature. His tragedy surpassing the bounds of personal tragic destiny and revealing the common social root on a higher level, offers more self-reflection and inspiration of literature for modern people facing literature and life and possesses a profoundly social value.
