摘　　要：基于三层平板波导TE模的色散关系,分析覆盖层为左手介质而其他层为右手介质的非对称三层平板波导的模式特性.结果表明,只有满足一定条件TE0才存在,而高次模的截止频率随着非对称因子a增大而减小.Based on the dispersive relation of TE modes in three slab waveguide, the properties of electromagnetic mode in asymmetric three slab waveguide with left-hand materials as covering layer and right-hand materials as other layer was investigated. The resuits show that, TE0 exists when the structural parameters of it satisfies certain conditions, and the bigger the asymmetric factor a becomes, the higher the cut-off frequency will be.
