摘　　要：国内外学者围绕体育的概念并未达成一致的意见。采用文献资料法,从体育的中英文词源、体育的性质和范围等方面对以往的定义进行梳理和评析,提出体育的二重性概念:体育是游戏性的身体活动,但体育还是一种社会制序。认为随着社会的发展,体育的性质也发生着变化。特别针对消费社会形态中的体育进行剖析,描述了体育现象、体育主体、体育行为在消费社会形态中的特征。The concept of sport did not reach consensus in the academic field. This article explored the English etymology of sport, the nature and the scope of sport, analyzing the definitions of sport, proposed the duality of sport, sport is games, but sport is also a social institution. With the development of society, the nature of sport is changing. Specifically for consumer society, the sport phenomenon, the subject of sport, the special characteristics of sport behaviors were analyzed.
