摘　　要：刀客是一种带有地域色彩的绿林,主要存在于关中地区。陕西辛亥革命期间,革命党人与刀客等势力联合反清。西安起义前,井勿幕、胡景翼等同盟会会员积极与刀客相结纳,发展革命势力。在陕西各县市的光复过程中,刀客发挥了重要作用。陕西的光复,是革命派与刀客等势力联合运动的结果。但由于其在政治上的不稳定性,有些刀客站到了革命的对立面,有些在参加革命后沦为军阀或其爪牙,成为革命者镇压的对象。The Swordsman was a kind of regional forest outlaws in late Qing Dynasty, who mainly lived in Guanzhong area, Shaanxi province. During the Revolution of 1911, in Shaanxi region, the revolutionaries, Swordsman and other groups joint together to resist Qing Government. Before the rebellion, in Xi＇an area, the members of the United League such as Jing Wumu, Hu Jingyi actively united the Swordsman to develop revolution forces. The Swordsman had played an important role in the Revolu- tion. The recovery of Shaanxi was the result of the joint movement of revolutionary party, Swordsman and other forces. However, owing to the political instability, some Swordsman stood on the opposite of revolution ; some of them reduced to warlords or their minions after the Revolution, thereby turned to the suppressed object of revolutionaries.
