摘　　要：本文阐述垃圾夯扩短桩在邯郸新近堆积软土场地上的工程尝试，分析了其加固地基的机理，结合工程实例论述了夯扩短桩在邯郸的适用性及其推广应用前景。This paper expounds an engineering attempt in using the short grouting pile with garbage\|rammed bottom and enlarged end (or for short, rammed\|enlarged short pile) to the newly piled up soft soil site in Handan City, analyzes the mechanism of the reinforcement of foundation and, in combination with some engineering examples, elucidates the applicability of rammed\|enlarge short piles to Handan and the prospects of their popularization and appilication.
