摘　　要：膨胀土属于特殊性土,其特点是遇水膨胀、失水收缩,其周而复始的变形会影响道路未来的使用功能,造成破坏。通过对其特性、工程地质特征、处治方法的论述,阐明其破坏的机理,值得同行借鉴。The expansive soil is a kind of particular soil. Its characteristics are being expanding when it is watered and shrinking when it is dried. Its reciprocating deformation will impact the service function of road in future and causes destruction. Through discussing its property, geological characteristics and treatment methods, its destructive mechanism is expatiated on, which deserves reference.
