摘　　要：教学和科研是高等学校教师的基本任务。如何把科研与教学结合,以科研促教学是值得探讨的问题。本文结合长江大学文理学院外语学部的具体实践,阐释了高校以科研促教学的途径和成效。Teaching activities and academic research are the fundamental tasks of the teachers in universities and colleges.It is worthwhile exploring how to combine the two and promote teaching activates by academic research.Based on the relevant practice in Department of Foreign Languages of Yangtze University College of Arts and Science,this paper shows the methods and effect of prompting teaching activities by academic research.
