摘　　要：中印自由贸易区是近年来中印关系发展议程中的头等大事。但我们也注意到,尽管已经完成了联合可行性研究,但两国尚未展开政府间谈判。在近期内,两国应采取一系列有利措施促进两国自由贸易区的建立。在政治领域,应转变冷战思维,建立促进互信的一系列交流合作机制;在经济领域,两国应在承认中国市场经济地位、关税等领域展开全面的合作;就中国来说,也应采取有力措施,为促进两国自由贸易区建立奠定基础。The Sino- India Free Trade Area （FTA） has great importance to the relationship between the two countries, although the government - level negotiation is yet to be kicked off except for the completion of the united feasibility research. In the near future, the two counterparts should adopt a series of measures to prompt the establishment of the FTA. In the political field, both India and China are supposed to shift the Cold War mentality and build the cooperation mechanism based on mutual trust. While in the economic sphere, the overall cooperation in the recognition of Chinag market economy status as well as customs duties, ere, should be carried out. China also should take effective measures to lay the foundation for the establishment of the Sino - India Free Trade Area.
