摘　　要：随着中国体育事业的蓬勃发展以及国际间体育交流的不断增强,体育新闻英语的应用越来越广泛。作为国际体育交流的一种工具,这门专业性很强的语言日益显现出它鲜活的特色,如大量使用专业术语、习语、昵称、缩略词和数字等。了解并掌握它的特点,将有助于更好地把握最新国际体育方向和发展动态,更好地了解最新体育赛事,进行国际交流。With the flourishing development of sports in China and increasing international sports communication, sports news English is now widely used. As a tool of international sports communication, this quite professional language has shown its distinctive characteristics, such as using a large number of sports terminologies, idioms, nicknames, abbreviations, etc. To know and master its characteristics will help to understand the latest development of international sports and games, thus to communicate with people from different countries.
