摘　　要：对流天气的临近预报是近年来中国气象局重点发展的一个新的业务领域,目前临近预报业务系统中主要的算法,仍然是基于雷达资料的外推预报。本文基于2008年奥运会期间在北京实施的世界天气研究计划临近预报国际示范项目-B08FDP的运行情况,介绍了国际先进的临近预报业务系统及其在临近预报算法方面的新进展,并给出了奥运示范期间临近预报系统总体预报性能的检验结果。Recent years, convective weather nowcasting, as a new operational forecasting field , had gained attention of China Meteorological Administration. The major algorithms of nowcasting are still based on extrapolation of Radar data. State-of-the-art nowcasting operational systems and advances in the nowcasting algorithms are presented in this paper on the basis of our experiences in running the Beijing 2008 Forecast Demonstration Project of the World Weather Research Project. The verified results of general performances in the Olympic demonstration period of those nowcasting systems were also provided.
