摘　　要：民办本科高等学校是我国高等教育事业的重要组成部分，可持续发展是当前民办本科高校必须认真解决的核心问题。寻求适合自己科学发展的特色之路，把提升科研能力和学术水平。增强社会影响力，作为内涵建设的重心工作来抓，这既是提高民办本科高校办学质量和办学水平的当务之急，也是促进民办本科高技可持续发展的重要保证。基于民办本科高校科研工作的现状．充分认识开展科研工作的意义、确立科研工作的指导思想，采取有效对策．是提升办学实力的当务之急。The basic concept of higher education in private colleges and universities is sustainable development which is also the key problem in undergraduate universities. It is both an urgency in improving quality and level of running private colleges or universities and an important guarantee in boosting sustainable development of private colleges and universities to seek for our own unique way that fits ourselves in scientific development, and to improve the ability and level of scientific research as important connotation work in private colleges and universities. This article has summarized the current scientific research work, signification, guiding principles and corresponding countermeasures of scientific research in private colleges and universities.
