摘  要:With continued population growth and accelerated industrialization and urbanization, water shortages and water quality deterioration have become a bottleneck restraining global socioeconomic progress. In China, water resources are unevenly distributed, with abundance in the south and scarcity in the north. Every year, a loss of nearly 100 billion yuan is incurred by water shortages in the north.
