摘　　要：明确新疆维吾尔自治区向西开放竞争力的概念,构建新疆维吾尔自治区向西开放竞争力的分析模型,从核心竞争力、基础竞争力和环境竞争力三个方面进行分析。研究结果表明:新疆维吾尔自治区向西开放的国际化能力、企业管理、创新能力、基础设施、人力资源、产业结构、政府管理和生活质量8个子要素发展较快,一直保持稳定增长;而经济实力、资源和社会和谐3个子要素有所退步。针对以上状况提出建议,以提高新疆维吾尔自治区的向西开放竞争力。This paper clears the concept of competitiveness of Xinjiang ＂opening to west＂, and constructs the model of competitiveness of Xinjiang ＂opening to west＂ to make analysis from the three aspects of core competitiveness, basic competitiveness and environmental competitiveness. The results show that the 8 sub-elements of Xinjiang ＂opening to west＂, that is, internationaliza- tion ability, enterprise management, innovation ability, infrastructure, human resources, industrial structure, government management and quality of life, have developed more fast and remained stable growth; while the 3 sub-elements of economic strength, resources and social harmonious have fallen behind. Therefore, the paper gives some suggestions for improving the competitiveness of Xinjiang ＂opening to west＂ accordingly.
