摘　　要：随着城市机动交通技术的不断革新,现代城市街道的发展到了一个充满选择的十字路口。而作为街道空间中的两大主体活动——机动交通与步行活动和谐关系的建立则是推动城市街道形态发展的关键,该文通过分析共生理论的本质特征,发掘机动交通与步行活动建构共生关系的重要条件,以有效指导未来实践。With the innovation of urban motorized traffic in technology,urban streets have evolved into a critical turning point.The harmonious relationship between motorized traffic and pedestrian activity which are principal parts on urban street is the key to pushing the development of urban street.Through the analysis of relevant research on achievements and basic features in the field of symbiotic theory,this article puts forward the fundamental symbiotic conditions between motorized traffic and pedestrian activity,in order to guide future practices.
