摘　　要：图书馆的过刊剔旧应是期刊文献建设的重要方面,但由于剔旧的规范和标准难以确立,剔旧工作还没有广泛开展起来。阐述了图书馆过刊剔旧的原因及理论依据,探讨了非正式条件下图书馆过刊剔旧的范围、条件及方法。Library’s back-issues weeding should be an important part of the construction of periodical literature,however,because it is hard to establish the norms and standards for back-issues weeding,this work hasn＇t developed widely.This paper expounds the reasons and theoretical bases of library’s back-issues weeding,and probes into the scopes,conditions and methods of library’s back-issues weeding under informal conditions.
