摘　　要：多媒体数据库是数据库与多媒体技术的结合。介绍多媒体数据库系统及其体系结构,基于内容的检索方式及检索过程,并以VF数据库管理系统为例介绍多媒体数据库的实现方法。The multimedia database is a combination of database and multimedia technique. Introduces multimedia database system and its system structure, according to the inspectional way and index process of contents. Taking the VF database management system as an example to introduce the implementation method of multimedia database.
