Effects of Cationic Inorganics and Styrene-acrylic Copolymer Blends on Promoting the Sizing Performances of Cationic Rosin Emulsion

摘  要:用阳离子型无机物与苯丙共聚物组成的WBH混合物作为阳离子分散松香胶(YSR)的增效剂,组成WBH-YSR混合施胶剂,研究了混合施胶剂中WBH的含量、混合施胶剂的用量、以及CaCO3填料对纸张施胶度的影响。结果表明:m(YSR)∶m(WBH)=8∶2的混合施胶剂的施胶度最大,比单一的YSR提高了92.6%;其后继续增大施胶剂中的WBH质量比,施胶度减小。WBH的应用可大幅降低YSR的施胶成本,且混合施胶剂容忍CaCO3的用量程度大。Blends of styrene-acrylic copolymer and inorganic chemicals, abbreviated as WBH, were used as promoting agent for cationic rosin emulsion(YSR) sizing agent. The mass ratio of WBH to YSR in the blended sizing agent, the dosage of the blended sizing agent itself, and the dosages of calcium carbonate in the papermaking stock, were investigated to discover their effects on the sizing degree of handsheets. The result showed that when the blended sizing agent had the mass ratio of m(YSR) : m(WBH)= 8 : 2, the sizing effect was the best,and it was 92.6% higher than that by the YSR only, then the sizing effet decreased again with the further increasing of WBH to YSR mass ratio. The use of WBH prodigiously reduced the sizing costs of YSR, and the mixed YSR-WBH sizing agent exhibited good tolerance to the use of CaCO3.
