摘 要:廖燕的文论主张在清初文化专制的氛围中能够独树一帜,与其平民知识分子的身份和特立独行的性格密切联系在一起。他与明遗民交往较多,尊崇阳明心学,且受实学思潮影响。廖燕攘斥剽拟,尊崇性灵,高扬小品文和文学评点的价值,追求创作个性,向往创作自由,并建立了"以愤为美"的文艺创作的美学原则和"意在形因"的艺术创作理论,具有反皇权专制、反传统教条和富于战斗精神的文化品格。Liao Yan's literature thoughts are outstanding in cultural tyranny of the times in the Qing Dynasty,which has close relationship with his status of civilian intellectual and his unique character.Many of his friends were diehards of the Ming Dynasty.They worshiped the theory of Wang Yangming and were also influenced by the practical thought.Attacking despotism system and advocating the truth were the core of his literature thoughts.He argued that essays and article comments were very important to literary works.He established a new aesthetic principle that anger was a supreme style,and put forward a theory on artistic creation that an artist should have ready works in his mind before his wrote them.Both his literature theory and his works were anti-autocratic and anti-tradition.
