摘 要:就文本形态而言,明代奇书《三国演义》、《水浒传》、《金瓶梅》都有贯穿始终的城市书写,但在内容与笔法上,则有浓淡深浅之别。当中国古代城市职能经历"城—都—市",即由军事中心到政治中心再到经济中心的演进时,明代"三大奇书"恰与这种城市职能的演替对应和暗合,如果说《三国演义》突出"城",那么《水浒传》关注"都",而《金瓶梅》则是典型的"市"小说。由此,三大奇书建构了古代文学值得注意的三种人城关系模式:城与城的对抗、人与城的对抗以及城对人的操控。因为涵括了古往今来人城关系最尖锐、最典型的三种情形:以城池为目标的政治争夺、市民对都市强权的反叛、个体在城市中被"物化",所以,描写人与城市的冲突及其后果应是明代奇书的主题内涵之一。This paper unscrambles the books Romance of the Three Kingdoms,All Men Are Brothers and The Golden Lotus,three of the four spectacular books of the Ming dynasty from a perspective of city novel.There are descriptions of city throughout all of the three books.Romance of the Three Kingdoms emphasizes the role of town,while All Men Are Brothers emphasizes the role of captital,and The Golden Lotus,however,emphasizes the role of city.Therefore,the three books construct three patterns of the relationship of people and city,including the confrontation between city and city,the confrontation between people and city,and the city control of people.Basing on the analyzation,this paper figures out that one of the themes of the spectacular books of the Ming dynasty is describing the conflicts between city and people and their consequences.
