摘  要:A simple and efficient catalytic protocol for the synthesis of 14-aryl-14H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes via the one-pot condensation ofβ-naphthol and aryl aldehydes using silicotungstic acid(H_4[SiW_(12)O_(40)]) is reported.The present method offers several advantages such as high to excellent yields,short reaction times,recovery and reusability of catalyst,mild reaction conditions and easy workup procedures.A simple and efficient catalytic protocol for the synthesis of 14-aryl-14H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes via the one-pot condensation ofβ-naphthol and aryl aldehydes using silicotungstic acid(H_4[SiW_(12)O_(40)]) is reported.The present method offers several advantages such as high to excellent yields,short reaction times,recovery and reusability of catalyst,mild reaction conditions and easy workup procedures.
