摘　　要：人类学到底属于"科学"还是"人文学科",人们对此分歧很大。马林诺夫斯基在民族志和日记两种体裁中表现出来的表述分裂影响到列维-斯特劳斯和格尔茨,同时,他对美拉尼西亚岛民的性自由的保守看法也影响到玛格丽特·米德的"亲善寓言"。正是这位人类学大师造成了人类学现代学科权威形成伊始的矛盾处境,他的中产阶级心性也正在得到进一步的解读。One of basic contradictions of anthropology as an intellectual discipline is whether it belongs to science or humanistics. The split personality had tormented Malinowski expressed in his ethnography and field diary has affected Levi-Strauss and Clifford Geertz, at the same time, his contradictory attitudes toward sex freedom of the Melanesians has also influenced the idea of Margaret Mead such as fables of rapport. However, it is the incompatible contexts created by this anthropological master that exposed his inward nature of middle class in regard to the conception of civility and habit of self-control.
