摘　　要：镇江高等专科学校图书馆利用资源、技术和设备优势自建的镇江地方文化数据库,对传承镇江城市文化内涵、延续城市文化特色、促进地方经济建设具有十分重要的意义论文探讨了该数据库的建库背景、建库优势、建库内容和技术路线,并从丰富资源、实现共享,传承文化、推动发展等方面阐述了其功能。。Zhenjiang College Library constructed a Zhenjiang local culture database by using its own advantage of resources,technology and equipment, which is very important to the heritage of Zhenjiang＇s city culture intension, continuing urban culture characteristic and promoting local economic development. This paper probes into the building background, the building advantage, the building content and the technological route of this database. From abundant resource, realizing sharing, passing culture on and promoting development, it explains the function of this database.
