ATP DETERMINATION OF PARENT SEEDLINGS AS A METHOD TO EVALUATE THE HETEROSIS OF RICE

摘　　要：本文对水稻亲本黄化幼苗 ATP 含量水平与杂种优势的相关性作了探索。从15个组合(其中4个为无优组合)测试的初步结果来看,它很可能成为测试水稻杂优的一个有效与快速的指标。By bioluminescent assay the ATP content of rice seedings homogenate of parents,which produce a heterotic or nonheterotic hybrid,was determined.It was found that the sum of ATP content of parents,which produce a heterotic hybrid was>2.0×10^(-6) mmoles/g seedlings homo- genate,while that of parents of nonheterotic hybrids was<2.0×10^(-6) mmoles/g seedlings ho- mogenate.This method has been applied to evaluate the heterosis of 15 rice crosses in vitro.Re- suits indicated that 14/15 of the experimental subjects were in coincidence with the above-men- tioned findings.
