摘　　要：一、遗址概况 鱼化寨遗址位于西安市雁塔区鱼化寨街道鱼化寨村西北侧,皂河西岸的二级台地上,今西安外事学院北校区西北部。遗址东、北两侧被皂河环绕,地势中心高,周围低（图一）。The Yuhuazhai Site is located on the second terrace of Zao River＇s west bank,northwest of the Yuhuazhai village,in the Yanta District of Xi＇an.From 2002 to 2004,the Xi＇an Institute of Conservation and Archeology excavated the site,and found rich deposit of houses,pits and tombs,all of them belonging to the Yangshao cultural remains.Of the 14 tombs in the style of vertical earthen pit,twelve are of the early Yangshao period,and two are of the late Yangshao period.Twelve early tombs situated on the southern part of the settlement are tombs of minors,sharing similarities in distribution,construction,burial types,funerary goods,and funera ry assemblages with other contemporary tombs of the Yangshao Culture.Such shared characteristics provide us with new materials to study the mortuary practice and settlement pattern of the Yangshao Culture in the Guanzhong region.
