摘　　要：第一信号是具体可感物体产生的刺激。第二信号是第一信号的信号,是由语言、文字、符号、密码等构成,是具体可感刺激物的代表。人类有了第二信号这个得力工具以后,使科学技术、人类文明获得了有效的记录、传承和发展,使人类大大超越了其他高等动物。第三信号是第二信号的代表,第三信号将大大提高信息传播的速度,压缩第二信号的符号数量,扩充信息存储的空间,提高工作效率。探讨了三种信号间的关系,探讨了创制第三信号的策略及第三信号的发展趋势。指出第三信号的创制,必须符合简约、明了、形象、易识、易写、高涵盖的要求。The first signal refers to a concrete sensible object and its stimulus. The second signal is the signal of the first signal, including linguistic, literal and symbolic signals representing those concrete sensible objects. As an effective tool of mankind, the second signal makes it possible for mankind to record, pass down and develop science and technology or human civilization, which distinguishes human being from other living creatures. The third signal is the signal of the second, which is used to compress the amount of the second signals, enlarge the storage space for the second signals and increase the speed of information communication. It improves work efficiency greatly. This text focuses on the third signal, concerning the relations between the three signals, the methods of creating and developing the third signals which should be based on some basic principles, such as being short, clear, symbolic, recognizable and summary.
