摘　　要：701字段作为中文普通图书CNMARC著录格式中较为复杂的字段,同时也是重要的检索字段,在著录工作中,经常会遇到各种各样的情况,尤其是有关外国责任者的著录,情况更为复杂。文章通过一些很有代表性的案例,就701字段中外国责任者的著录要点及难点加以探讨说明。The field of 701 is a comparatively complex field in the description of ordinary books with the format of CNMARC, and an important one in information retrieval. In practice, the librarians as often as not meet with difficulties, and especially when they describe the foreign authors, the situation becomes even more complex. This article makes an illustration to the main points in the description of foreign authors in the field of 701 by selecting some typical cases.
