摘　　要：指令电话是冶金行业广泛使用的一种工业通信设备。由于电缆连接的特殊性,所以,当系统中某段电缆或某个端局发生短路故障时,就有可能使整个通信系统不能正常使用,为此开发了一套指令电话电缆监控系统来解决此问题。比较了脉冲反射法、伏安法、电桥法三种电缆检测方法,确定采用恒流源电缆检测技术。以宝钢焦炉指令电话电缆监控系统为例,详细分析了恒流源电缆检测电路和应用案例,说明了电缆监控系统的组成与功能。The paging telephone is a kind of industrial communication equipment widely used in metallurgy industry.Because of the particularity of the cable connection,the whole communication system may not work properly when short-circuit troubles occur for some cables or some stations in the system.Therefore a set of cable monitoring system for the paging telephone was developed to solve the problem.The constant current source cable testing technology was adopted after the comparison of the three methods： the pulse reflecting,voltammetry and electric bridge had been done.Taking the paging telephone cable monitoring system for Baosteel＇s coke ovens as an example,the paper analyzed the constant current source cable test circuit and its applications in detail,and also described the the system＇s composition and functions.
