摘　　要：奥尼尔戏剧充分揭示身份的可塑性特征,挑战并解构权力话语对身份本质和本体特征的规定,演示了身份变化的过程。《大神布朗》揭示了布朗分裂的、非连贯的人格;《无穷岁月》中约翰.洛文两个分裂自我的对白实际上是相互矛盾的本我和自我的冲突。Eugene O＇Neill＇s mid-stage plays fully show the flexibility of identity,challenge and deconstruct power discourse＇s provision of the nature and essence of identity,demonstrate the process of the changes of identity and the development of new identity.＂The Great God Brown＂（1925） discloses Brown＇s divided and incoherent persona.In ＂Days without End＂（1933） the dialogues between Loving＇s two divided selves illuminate the conflicts between ego and the id.
