摘　　要：新疆屯垦史是新疆历史的重要组成部分。新疆屯垦自西汉开始迄今两千余年,分为军垦与民垦两种类型。在长期的发展过程中,屯垦对于维护祖国统一,稳定新疆社会,开发建设边疆,加强内地与新疆的文化交流,发挥了重要的作用,具有深远的历史意义。The history of land reclamation is an important part of Xinjiang history. Xinjiang reclamation has a long history of more than 2,000 years ever since Western Han dynasty and it is divided into two types, military reclamation and civilian reclamation. In the course of its long development, reclamation has played an important role in defending the unity of China, stabilizing Xinjiang society, building Xinjiang and strengthening the cultural communication between inland and Xinjiang.
