摘　　要："实事求是"本是一个古老的成语,毛泽东赋予其新的内涵,基于此党的七大将其确立为中国共产党的思想路线。邓小平继承和发扬了实事求是这一毛泽东思想活的灵魂,将其发展为"解放思想、实事求是"。务实风格是邓小平实事求是思想的主要表现,具体包括"白猫黑猫论"、小康社会目标论及"摸着石头过河";务实性、创新性及实践性是邓小平实事求是思想的三大特点。＂Seeking Truth from Facts＂ was a Chinese idiom of remotest time at first, Mao Zedong added to it a new connotation, and the 7th National Congress of the Party made it the ideological line.Deng Xiaoping carried on the soul of Mao Zedong Thought and developed it into ＂Emancipating the Mind,Seeking Truth from Facts＂.The down-to-earth style is the main manifestation of Deng＇ s thinking of seeking truth from facts.The down-to-earthness, innovation and practice are three major characteristics of Deng＇ s thinking of seeking truth from facts.
