摘　　要：狄更斯作为现实主义创作大师,林纾在对其作品进行译介与研究的过程中,对其现实主义创作特征颇多体会,多方面进行了阐述和推介。林纾在翻译狄更斯小说的同时,以现实主义为中心,对狄更斯的小说创作进行了探讨,牵涉到现实主义创作方法、文学与生活的关系、文学的社会作用以及叙事艺术等很多基本的理论问题,在当时产生了非常重要的影响。Dickens is a master of realism. In translating and studying Dickens＇ works, Lin Shu made an interpretation and introduction of his realism creation method from various aspects. While translating Dickens＇ novels, Lin Shu studied Dickens＇ novel creation in the perspective realism. The study, including realism creation method, the relation between literature and life, social function of literature and the narrative arts, had significant influence in Lin Shu＇ s time.
