摘　　要：城市的布局和空间受到特定的经济形势影响,但也与政治社会的发展息息相关,不同的环境构成不同的空间表达和诉求。13世纪前后的佛罗伦萨和杭州表现出惊人相似一面的同时,也由不同的背景衍生出相异的城市空间,体现了东西方历史上城市化的不同特点。The Urban fabric and space are ettecteu oy specific economic condition, while are closely linked with the development of politics and society, different environment determined different expression and appeal in the aspect of space. Florence and Hangzhou in the time of 13th century reflected astonishing similar points, in the different background they also produced dissimilar urban space, reflecting respective characteristics of oriental and western urbanization in history.
