摘　　要：以超图软件股份有限公司(简称超图)新一代"共相式GIS内核"的桌面空间数据库项目为支撑,阐述了桌面型空间数据库的特点,研究中面临的技术难题,以及笔者的简要实现思路。同时将实现的桌面空间数据库在性能、兼容性和稳定性方面的表现与同类产品进行了对比测试和说明。最后,笔者提出了GIS桌面数据库今后的发展方向。This article is supported by the project of new generation spatial desktop database using UGC（ universal GIS core） of SuperMap^TM company. This paper illustrates the characteristics of desktop spatial database, and presents technical problems and solutions in implementation. Then the author compares the performance, compatibility and stability of this desktop database with similar products in the market. Finally, the author proposes the direction of GIS desktop database in the future.
