摘 要:为了在光信号处理中引入正负的概念,提出了偏振态旋转现象描述的光信号双极性乘法。以偏振光学的斯托克斯矢量法理论为基础,分析了半导体光放大器(SOA)的偏振旋转现象,从理论上提出了偏振旋转双极性乘法的概念。为了验证该理论,提出了一种实现双极性乘法器的实验方案,在实验系统中实现了两级SOA偏振旋转,其中第一级对光信号进行偏振编码,第二级完成双极性乘法。通过对乘法器输入不同排列组合的数据,验证了双极性乘法的4种情况,并给出了相关实验结果与分析,研究了双极性乘法器的原理和物理实现。In order to introduce the native and positive conceptions in optical signal processing,an optical bipolar multiplication described by optical polarization rotation was presented.Based on Stocks matrix of polarization optics theory,the polarization rotation of semiconductor optical amplifier device was analyzed,the concept of optical bipolar multiplier based on palarization rotation(SOA) was presented.To validate the effectiveness of this theory,experiment scheme of the bipolar multiplier system including two stages polarization rotation device was put forward.The linearly polarized beam from continuous wave laser was injected to the first stage to code optical signal with orthogonal states,and states sequence was input to the second stage to verify bipolar multiplication.Data with different permutations and combinations were input to multiplier,and the four conditions of multiplier system were proved.Finally,experiment analysis and conclusion were given.Principle and demonstration of bipolar multiplier are studied not only theoretically but also experimentally in this work.
