摘　　要：大同善化寺大雄宝殿内33尊彩塑是我国金代彩塑中不可多得的瑰宝，由于年久失修，加之人为、自然的损毁，一些塑像已处于令人担忧的境地，亟需国家作保护性的维修。本文是对彩塑毁损程度的初步调查，及对彩塑作保护性维修的一般性论述。Shanxi province has the big- gest number of major sites to be protected at the national level, enjoying the fame as ＂the trea- sury of ancient painted sculpturein China＂ . 33 pieces of painted sculpture housed in the Main Hall of Shanhua Temple in Datong are rare treasures of sculpture of Jin Dynasty in our country.
