摘　　要：以曾国藩为首的湘军理学经世群体,不仅是一个政治、军事集团,而且也是一个文化集团。理学和经世之学是湘军集团重要的文化来源。他们奉程朱理学为正统,以经世致用为手段。这种独特的文化心态,注定了他们在政治选择上必然会与离经叛道的农民起义军为敌,在卫道护圣的旗帜下,他们拼死力战,力求实现封建士人"修身、齐家、治国平天下"的政治追求。Hunan military science, led by Zeng Guofan, is not only a political and military group, but also a cultural group. Science and country-management is the main source of Hunan military group. They take school of Cheng brothers and Zhu Xi as the orthodox idea. The means of the confucian theory for society. This unique cultural mentality is doomed to choose their political will which fight against the deviant peasant military under the banner of their desperate battle, striving to achieve the feudal scholars pursuit of the political ＂ Self-cultivation, regulating the family, governing the country and establishing peace throughout the world ＂
