摘  要:英国在早期珠三角地区的铁路利益是其在华经济利益侵略中的一个侧面。学界似未对英国在此时空背景下所主导的影响进行系统的梳理。事实上,除为人所熟知的广九铁路外,英国对该地区其他铁路包括未曾兴建的广澳、广厦线亦有所染指,这些因素对近代该地区铁路建设格局产生了重要的影响。British interests of railways in early Pearl River Delta are one aspect of the economic aggressive interests in China,but scholar shave not yet ordered the impact dominated by British under the ground of that time and space.In fact,in addition to the well known Kowloon-Canton Railway,the British also used to encroach other railways(including Canton-Macao Railway and Canton-Amoy Railway,though that did not happed),having a significant impact on the construction of these railways in this region of modern times.To assess the influence,we should start from the negotiation of the right of railways between British and China in the late 19th century and early 20th century,ordering the progress,and make an attempt to analyze two sides of British factor objectively.
