摘　　要：通过对经营内涵的科学认识，阐释了大学需要经营的必要性，并以重庆医科大学在管理创新方面的探索实践，说明大学经营在深化高校管理体制，优化资源配置，提高办学效益、增强大学核心竞争力方面有重要作用。With the understanding of the connotation of management, the author of this paper ex plained the necessity of management in universities, pointing out that university management played an im portant role in deepening university management system, optimizing allocation of resources, enhancing school effectiveness and strengthening the core competitiveness of universities.
