摘　　要：传奇是中国小说最基本的叙事模式与传统之一,也是影响中国现代小说叙事模式生成、发展的最重要的"中国经验"之一,本文即试图据此阐明三个问题:一是为什么说《边城》是一个传奇;二是《边城》作为传奇叙事的基本模式是什么;三是《边城》传奇叙事的生成背景与动因,以及其中传奇叙事传统作为"中国经验"对现代小说叙事以及沈从文小说创作的影响。The Legend is Chinese basic narrative fiction and traditional models, which is also one of the impact of ＂Chinese experience＂. The Legend exerts an influence on modern Chinese fiction narrative pattern. This article attempts to clarify the basis of three questions：First,why＂Border Town＂ is said to be a legend;Second,what is the basic legendary narrative model of ＂Border Town＂;The third is the generation of the legendary narrative＇s background and motivation of ＂Border Town＂ and what influnces the＂Chinese experience＂ narrative in Shen Cong-wen＇s novels.
