摘　　要：大别山根据地是解放战争时期中共中央为实现战略反攻意图而布下的一枚"险棋",它的成功重建离不开邓小平对该地区民生问题所作的不懈探索。邓小平通过调查各种民生问题,实施各项民生工程,使解放军在较短的时间内站住了脚、扎下了根,进而为战略反攻的宏伟蓝图打下了坚实的基础。Dabie Mountain base area was a ＂killer＂ which was aimed to speed up the war＇ s process by the Central Committee of CPC during the War of Liberation. However, it could not be rebuilt successfully without Deng Xiao-ping＇ s endeavor on the people＇ s livelihood. He believed that people＇ s livelihood was so important that he put all his heart on surveying and resolving it. With all those hard work, the People＇s Liberation Army could anchor here in a short time, thus laid a solid foundation for ending the war.
