摘　　要：改革开放至今,中小学图书馆建设得到了重视和加强,但目前的中小学图书馆依然存在各种问题,到馆读者少,利用率低,其教育功能作用并未得到真正体现。文章把广州市中小学图书馆调研的实证数据作为依据,对中小学图书馆建设存在问题以及未来发展策略进行必要的分析,以引起教育主管机构、中小学校领导和图书馆工作者重视和借鉴。Since China＇s reform and opening policy, the construction of primary and middle school libraries have been given attention. However, there still exist various problems, for example, few readers and lower usage of the utility, which doesn＇t reflect the education function. The article analyzes the issues and development in the construction of primary and middle school libraries, based on the research of empirical data. The aim is to provide information to education authorities, middle and primary school leaders and the librarians.
