摘　　要：高校图书馆应运用各种现代信息技术手段，全面开发报纸这一庞大的信息源。从本校教学与科研出发，跟踪读者信息需求，为读者提供新颖的、及时的、全面的、有价值的信息服务。在网络环境下，高校图书馆开发虚拟报纸馆藏，开拓服务空间，可以强化图书馆的文献信息传递作用，是自身发展的需要。参考文献6。University library should make use of modem information technology to fully develop this vast news- paper information resource, and provide readers with innovative, timely, comprehensive and valuable information service from the point of university teaching and scientific research activities by tracking readers＂ information needs. Under a network environment, university library should adhere to develop virtual newspaper collections, expand serv- ice space and strengthen th~ transfer function of library literature information to meet the needs of its own develop- ment. 6 Refs.
