关于视觉语法的几点思考

摘　　要：本文以系统功能语法和视觉语法的关系为切入点,对Kress和van Leeuwen构建的视觉语法进行探讨。研究发现,Kress和van Leeuwen提出的视觉语法存在以下四个方面的不足:1)"叙述再现"的分类不具有互补性;2)"接触"的结构生搬硬套,实际应用性不强;3)"情态"的设计不具有系统性;4)判断图像元素重要性时忽略了元素本身的社会属性。本文基于系统功能语法,对以上四个方面分别进行了补充和完善。This paper attempts to improve the theoretical framework of Kress & van Leeuwen's visual grammar by taking its relation with Systemic Functional Grammar into consideration.The study shows that visual grammar's disadvantages mainly lie in the following four aspects:1)there are overlaps among the three main processes in narrative representation;2)the structure of contact is the rigid imitation of 'offering' and 'demanding' in functional grammar,and inconsistent with the real situation;3)the design of modality is not systemic;4)the social property of an element in a picture is neglected during the process of judging its importance.Then this paper improves the above four aspects respectively based on Systemic Functional Grammar.
