摘　　要：高职院校的英语教学是衡量高校办学水平和质量的重要指标,本文通过对高职院校学生的英语学习现状研究,分析了高职院校学生英语水平低下的原因,并且提出了新形势下提高英语教学效果和质量的一些对策,希望能够促进英语教学的健康发展。The vocational institutions English language teaching is an important indicator to measure the level and quality of Higher Education.Low English language proficiency of students in vocational colleges is the common phenomenon,so we must take measures to improve the effectiveness and quality of English teaching in the new situation.The article explores some common problems existing in college English teaching and putsforward some countermeasures to improve the teaching effect and quality,expecting to facilitate English learningand teaching in a smooth and healthy way in new social situation.
